HANOI, Dec. 5 (Xinhua/APP): A fire at a restaurant in Vietnam’s southern hub Ho Chi Minh City killed four people early Friday, local daily VnExpress reported.
The blaze broke out around 5 a.m. local time in the restaurant’s kitchen. Two kids, aged 2 and 7, and two women, aged between 35 and 40, died from smoke inhalation, according to the report.
More than 50 firefighters battled the flames for 30 minutes before bringing the fire under control.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the incident.
