Beijing, May 23 (BRNN/APP): Chinese President Xi Jinping inspected the Longmen Grottoes. He underlined the importance of preserving, inheriting and promoting these treasures of Chinese culture.
The Longmen Grottoes are one of China’s four largest Buddhist cave complexes, along with the Mogao Caves and Maijishan Grottoes in Gansu Province, and the Yungang Grottoes in Shanxi Province.
China’s four major cave complexes are shining gems of Chinese heritage, each with immense historical and cultural value.
Xi’s visits to all four sites reflect his consistent focus on the preservation and development of Chinese culture.
