MINSK, 11 June (BelTA/APP): Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Maksim Ryzhenkov received copies of the credentials of Josef Migas, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Slovakia to Belarus on 11 June, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The parties discussed Belarus-Slovakia relations, prospects for the gradual restoration of full-scale cooperation, and organization of a number of joint events.
The minister emphasized that Belarus welcomes and highly appreciates the constructive position of Slovakia’s leadership, its readiness for dialogue, and the decision to appoint an ambassador to Minsk, given Bratislava’s special role in Europe at this stage.
Maksim Ryzhenkov wished the ambassador every success and expressed confidence in his effective work in Belarus, noting the significant contribution of Jozef Migas to the development of cooperation between the countries in previous years.
