COAS Gen. Raheel meets Iranian Defence Minister

ISLAMABAD, Jan 19 (APP): Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif on Tuesday in Thran met Defence Minister of Iran Hossein Dehghan, press release of Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) here said.
In the meeting with Iranian Defence Minister, matters of regional security came under discussion. COAS reiterated that Pakistan takes Iran as very important neighbouring Muslim country and people of Pakistan have a great affinity with the Iranian brothers.
He said that terrorism is a global threat which has the potential of destabilizing the region which needs a well coordinated response.Iranian Defence minister thanked Gen. Raheel Sharif and people of Pakistan for their efforts towards stablizing regional security.
