ISLAMABAD, Nov 23 (APP): A five-member high level delegation from China led by Mr. Liu Jianchao, Vice Minister, International Cooperation, Ministry of Supervision arrived here on Monday to attend the two-day Conference of Asian Ombudsmen Association (AOA).
The Chinese delegation’s participation in the conference reflects the special relationship that Pakistan and China enjoy, says a press release..During his stay, the Chinese vice minister will also hold bilateral discussions with his Pakistani counterparts including the
Federal Ombudsman, Mr. M. Salman Faruqui and the Chairman, National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Mr. Qamar Zaman Chaudhry.
Earlier, on their arrival, Mr. Liu Jianchao and other members
of the Chinese delegation were received by the Senior Advisor from
the Federal Ombudsman Secretariat representing the Federal Ombudsman
of Pakistan.
Besides participating in the conference, the Chinese vice
minister will also attend the inauguration of the newly established
Secretariat of the Asian Ombudsman Association in the Federal Ombudsman
of Pakistan premises in Islamabad.
