China to send envoy to Tehran for funeral of Iran’s Supreme Leader
BEIJING, Jul 2 (APP): Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun said on Thursday that China will send a high-level delegation to Iran to attend the funeral of the late Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
At his regular press briefing, he announced that Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress Wei will represent China at the funeral ceremony scheduled to take place in Tehran on July 3.
