China condemns shooting incident in two mosques in New Zealand

BEIJING, March 15 (APP):China Friday condemned the shooting incident occurred in two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand, killing 49 people and injuring many others.
“We condemned this incident, express our condolences to the victims, and express our sincere condolences to the injured and the families of the victims,” Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Lu Kang said in a statement issued here.
He informed that President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Keqiang sent a message of condolences to New Zealand Governor Pazzie Reddy and New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Aden, expressing their deep condolences to the victims and expressing their support to the injured and the families of the victims. He wished the injured to recover soon.
State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi also expressed condolences to New Zealand Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Peters, he added.
