BEIJING, Jan 18 (APP): China on Tuesday condemned attack launched by Yemen’s Houthis on civilian facilities including international airport of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE) and called on relevant parties to avoid taking actions that could increase the tension in the region.
“China condemns the attack on civilian facilities including international airport of Abu Dhabi, UAE,” Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson, Zhao Lijian said during his regular briefing held here.
“We support the UAE’s efforts in defending it security and stability and call on the relevant parties to avoid taking actions that may increase tension in the region,” he added. Yemen’s Houthis launched attack on Abu Dhabi on Monday that killed three people and wounded six, police said.
