ISLAMABAD, Nov 9 (APP): British High Commissioner to Pakistan,Philip Barton CMG OBE Monday attended an inaugural session of a dialogue highlighting importance of relations between Pakistan and Afghanistan.
The event titled ‘Beyond Boundaries’ was an initiative launched by the
Centre for Research and Security Studies (CRSS) of Pakistan in partnership with Afghanistan’s DURAN Research and Analysis.
The event was attended by Minister for Commerce Engr. Khurram
Dastgir Khan and Afghan Ambassador Janan Mosazai.
The event brought together prominent personalities from Pakistan and
Afghanistan.
The initiative was aimed to promote peace, security and regional
prosperity through better cooperation, said a press release.
On the occasion, British High Commissioner appreciated the initiative
which would help in understanding of the significance of bilateral ties.
