Belarusian Prime Minister arrives on three-day visit

ISLAMABAD, Nov 9 (APP): Prime Minister of Republic of
Belarus Andrei Kobyakov arrived here Monday on three-day official
visit to further cement bilateral ties.
A red carpet was rolled out for the foreign dignitary as he
landed at Nur Khan Airbase along with a high level delegation. This
is the first ever visit of any Prime Minister of Belarus to Pakistan.

and Minister-in- waiting Lt General (retd) Abdul Qadir
Baloch received Prime Minister Kobyakov.
Smartly turned out static guards of the Pakistan Air
Force presented salute to the Prime Minister.
Clad in traditional dress, a boy also presented a bouquet to
the guest. The Belarusian Prime Minister is scheduled to hold
official talks with Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif who
will also host lunch in his honour.
Several important agreements and MoUs are also expected to
be signed between the two countries to strengthen bilateral ties
in various fields.
President Mamoon Hussain will host a banquet in honour of
the Belarusian Prime Minister.
The visit also features a Third Pakistan-Belarus
Business and Investment Forum, scheduled to be held on November 10.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif visited Belarus in August this
year while the Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko paid a
state visit to Pakistan in May this year.
