MINSK, Jan 27 (BelTA/APP): A delegation of the Belarusian parliamentary working group on cooperation with Algeria’s parliament is on a return visit to Algeria on 27-28 January, BelTA learned from the press service of the House of Representatives of the Belarusian parliament.

The Belarusian parliamentary delegation, which includes members of the House of Representatives Ruslan Kosygin and Nadezhda Khaltsova, arrived in Algeria this morning.

The visit’s agenda includes meetings with the leadership of the Algerian parliament and the minister of industry, as well as tours of industrial enterprises of interest to Belarus. A key event will be a joint meeting of the Belarusian parliamentary working group on cooperation with Algeria’s parliament and the Algeria-Belarus Parliamentary Friendship Group of Algeria’s National People’s Assembly.

The press service noted that this visit reciprocates a working visit to Belarus in September 2025 by the Algeria-Belarus Parliamentary Friendship Group led by its President Hadjira Abbas. During that earlier visit, the delegation met with Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Vadim Ipatov, held a joint meeting with Belarusian parliamentarians, and toured several Belarusian enterprises.
