Belarus, Russia review joint projects in key sectors

MINSK, Dec 23 (BelTA/APP): Belarusian Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin and Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin discussed joint projects in the energy, industrial, and agro-industrial sectors during a telephone conversation, BelTA learned from the government’s press service.

Aleksandr Turchin and Mikhail Mishustin discussed current issues of bilateral trade, economic, scientific and technical cooperation. Specifically, the conversation touched upon joint projects in energy, industry, and agriculture.

The heads of government confirmed their mutual interest in further strengthening the strategic partnership between the two countries. The parties once again emphasized the importance of deepening integration processes within the framework of the Belarus-Russia Union State and the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).
