DHAKA (Bangladesh), Oct 25 (APP): Pakistan’s High Commissioner to Bangladesh Imran Ahmed Siddiqui on Monday presented Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina a photographic memoir of the visit of her father and country’s late Prime Minister Sheikh Mujibur Rahman to Pakistan in 1974.
The memoir comprised a photo album along with videos of Sheikh Mujib’s engagements at the summit of Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) held in Pakistan, besides his portrait at the Lahore Museum.
PM Sheikh Hasina was also presented the Bangla version of a coffee table book titled ‘Ala’ma Bil Qalam’, based on the compilation of calligraphic art rendered by the Pakistani artists.
Prime Minister Hasina thanked the High Commissioner for the gifts.
The High Commissioner conveyed Prime Minister Imran Khan’s message of goodwill and friendship to the Bangladesh prime minister and the people of her country.
Prime Minister Hasina reciprocated the good wishes for the leadership and people of Pakistan.
