Baku Engineering University takes first place in Ministry of Defense Industry Program

The “Red Braves” team of Baku Engineering University (BEU) has won first place in the “National Energetic Materials Development Program,” implemented within the framework of the “National Research Support Program” of the Ministry of Defense Industry.

Baku Jul 13 (AZERTACAPP): The “Red Braves” team of Baku Engineering University (BEU) has won first place in the “National Energetic Materials Development Program,” implemented within the framework of the “National Research Support Program” of the Ministry of Defense Industry.
The award was presented to the team by Vugar Mustafayev, Minister of Defense Industry of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The awarding of winners and the results of the program for the 2025–2026 academic year were announced at the reporting and graduation day of the “Engineering Training and Defense Industry Ecosystem Development Program,” held at the Research Institute of the Ministry of Defense Industry.
This achievement has been recognized as one of the significant accomplishments in the development of research activities at BEU, the promotion of innovative approaches, and the development of application-oriented engineering solutions.
Within the framework of the event, a special letter of appreciation was presented to BEU’s leadership in recognition of its significant and effective contributions to university-industry cooperation. At the same time, BEU students who successfully completed the aforementioned program were awarded certificates.
The team’s significant victory in the competition is an indicator of the strong scientific potential cultivated at BEU, the purposeful efforts undertaken to engage students and young researchers in innovative projects, and the effective outcomes of university-industry cooperation. At the same time, this achievement is a clear example of BEU’s contribution to strengthening the national research potential in the fields of defense industry and high technologies in the country, developing locally innovative solutions, and training highly qualified engineering personnel.
