Azerbaijan and Italy explore new priorities for cultural cooperation
Baku, Jun 19 (AZERTACAPP):As part of his visit to Rome, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Culture Adil Karimli met with his Italian counterpart, Alessandro Giuli.
The meeting focused on the current state of cultural relations between Azerbaijan and Italy, as well as prospects for further cooperation.
The sides reviewed issues related to the protection of cultural heritage, the implementation of joint projects in the fields of museum affairs, creative industries, cinematography, music, and performing arts, as well as the expansion of cooperation between cultural institutions.
Minister Adil Karimli informed his counterpart about the priorities of Azerbaijan’s cultural policy and initiatives aimed at strengthening cultural diplomacy and expanding international partnerships.
The parties exchanged views on organizing mutual cultural days, exhibitions and concert programs, implementing professional exchange projects, and deepening institutional cooperation in the field of culture.
