6.2-magnitude earthquake strikes Northern Egypt

Cairo, Aug 11 (SPA/APP): A 6.2-magnitude earthquake has struck Marsa Matruh in Egypt.
According to the Egyptian National Research Institute of Astronomy and Geophysics, the tremor occurred 877 km north of Marsa Matruh at a depth of 10.90 km.
No casualties or damage have been reported so far.
