RIYADH, May 11 (APP):The Saudi Ministry of Interior has reinforced the mandatory requirement of official Hajj permits for the 1447 AH season, issuing a final warning to all expatriates and visa holders against attempting the pilgrimage illegally. Under the new enforcement measures, anyone caught without valid documentation faces immediate arrest, steep financial penalties, and permanent expulsion from the Kingdom.
According to media reports KSA Government officials emphasized that access to the Holy Sites is strictly regulated to maintain the safety and security of registered pilgrims. To facilitate public cooperation, the Ministry has designated the emergency line 911 for Makkah, Madinah, and Riyadh, and 999 for all other regions, urging residents to report unauthorized Hajj organizers. The Pakistani mission in Saudi Arabia has concurrently advised its citizens to strictly uphold local laws to avoid severe legal repercussions.
