MAKKAH MUKARRAMAH, May 30 (APP): The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia hosted the prestigious international “Khitamuhu Misk” Conference in Makkah, marking the successful conclusion of the Hajj season.
A high-level Pakistani delegation, led by Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousuf, and comprising Federal Secretary for Religious Affairs, Abrar Ahmed Mirza, and Director General Hajj, Abdul Wahab Soomro, attended the event.
On the sidelines of the conference, Federal Minister Sardar Muhammad Yousuf held a detailed meeting with his Saudi counterpart, Minister of Hajj and Umrah Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, to discuss Hajj arrangements and matters of bilateral interest. The Saudi Minister highly commended the exemplary and well-coordinated arrangements made for Pakistani pilgrims this year, while hinting at an immediate commencement of preparations for the next Hajj season to ensure seamless operations.

Furthermore, the Federal Minister engaged in a series of high-level meetings with Ministers of Awqaf and religious affairs, alongside state delegations from various Islamic nations, including the Sultanate of Oman, Brunei Darussalam, Afghanistan, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Kuwait.

During these sessions, the leaders exchanged valuable insights regarding the post-Hajj operational experiences of their respective countries. The discussions focused on forging joint strategies to implement modern logistical frameworks and digital solutions for pilgrims in the future. The conference participants widely acknowledged and appreciated the administrative success of Pakistan’s Hajj Mission.
