PM Shehbaz meets Kuwaiti Crown Prince on sidelines of UNGA
NEW YORK, Sep 22 (APP):Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday met with Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, on the sidelines of the high-level segment of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly here.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif conveyed warm greetings to the Crown Prince and reaffirmed Pakistan’s strong and brotherly relations with Kuwait.
The two leaders reviewed the entire spectrum of bilateral ties and discussed avenues for further strengthening cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif emphasized the importance Pakistan attaches to its relations with Kuwait and highlighted the potential for enhanced cooperation in trade, investment, energy and human resource development.
The two sides also exchanged views on regional and international developments, and reiterated their shared commitment to promoting peace, stability and prosperity.
The prime minister is currently in New York to attend the high-level segment of the UN General Assembly session, where he has been holding a series of meetings with world leaders on the sidelines to expand Pakistan’s diplomatic and economic outreach.
