BEIJING, Oct 24 (APP):Pakistan’s exports of miscellaneous chemical products to China surged significantly in the first nine months of 2025, reaching $20.72 million, up 210% from $6.68 million recorded in the same period last year, according to data from the General Administration of Customs of China (GACC).
Among the key categories, chemical products and preparations of the chemical or allied industries (HS code 38249999) led the growth, recording exports worth $10.20 million with a total volume of 9.92 million kilograms. In the same period of 2024, Pakistan exported $5.25 million worth of these products at a volume of 5.38 million kilograms, showing a notable increase in both volume and value as Pakistan’s chemical processing sector continues to expand.
Another major contributor to the rise was industrial monocarboxylic fatty acids and acid oils from refining (HS code 38231900), with exports amounting to $9.93 million and a total shipment volume of 11.29 million kilograms, with an average price was $0.88 per KG. This marks a dramatic increase from just $0.90 million in the corresponding period of last year, reflecting the growing industrial and manufacturing demand in China for such inputs.
Owais Mir, the founder and Chief Executive of Dynamic Engineering & Automation (DEA) Group of companies, told Gwadar Pro that the surge to enhanced industrial capacity and improved chemical processing technologies. He noted that Pakistan’s focus on value-added production and stronger trade facilitation with China has significantly boosted export growth.
