BEIJING, Jun 30 (APP):The Pakistan Pavilion was officially inaugurated on June 29 at the Euro-Asia Exhibition in Urumqi, Xinjiang, marking a vibrant step forward in deepening economic ties and cultural exchanges between Pakistan and China.
The event highlighted the importance both sides attach to regional cooperation and people-to-people connectivity. The pavilion drew significant attention from attendees, with premium Pakistani mangoes emerging as the star attraction. Hundreds of visitors flocked to taste and learn about Pakistani mangoes, the “king of fruits,” which not only delighted palates but also showcased Pakistan’s agricultural strengths and export potential in the Chinese market, CEN reported.
This year’s exhibition also marked the first-ever participation of the National Logistics Corporation (NLC) and the Pakistan Green Initiative, adding a new dimension to the pavilion. Both entities engaged with Chinese companies and institutions to explore avenues for cooperation in logistics, green technology, and sustainable development – aligning with broader goals under China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
In addition to agricultural products, the Pakistan Pavilion exhibited a diverse range of high-quality goods, including jewelry, leather garments, luxury bags, traditional handicrafts, and contemporary clothing. These items not only highlighted the country’s rich cultural heritage but also demonstrated its growing capabilities in textile and design manufacturing.
