Pakistan consulate in Jeddah introduces mandatory online appointments for NADRA, passport services

JEDDAH, Sep 24 (APP):The Consulate General of Pakistan in Jeddah has introduced an online appointment system for NADRA and Machine-Readable Passport (MRP) services, in a major step aimed at modernizing and streamlining consular services for the hundreds of thousands of Pakistanis residing in the western region of Saudi Arabia.
Pakistan’s Consul General in Jeddah, Syed Mustafa Rabbani, introduced the initiative as part of a commitment to make consular services more convenient and citizen-friendly.
Under the new system, Pakistani citizens can book online appointments for their required NADRA and passport services and visit the consulate on their scheduled date and time to complete the application process.
Starting October 1, 2026, NADRA and MRP services will be provided exclusively on an appointment basis. Consul General Syed Mustafa Rabbani informed media representatives that appointment bookings commenced on September 20, 2026.
Members of the Pakistani community can book appointments from the comfort of their homes by selecting a suitable time slot.
The primary objective of the initiative is to save citizens from long waits and unnecessary queues at the consulate while further improving the overall service delivery process.
According to the briefing, applicants will receive a notification and a tracking ID via SMS after securing an appointment. The tracking ID will enable them to monitor the status of their appointment online.
Special emphasis has been placed on making the new appointment system fast, convenient, secure and reliable.
Consul General Syed Mustafa Rabbani said the new system would bring greater organization and transparency to service delivery while saving citizens’ valuable time. The availability of designated time slots is also expected to help reduce overcrowding and waiting times at the consulate.
According to information released by the consulate, Pakistani citizens can book appointments through the online portal appointment.parepjeddah.org. The consulate has also advised citizens to contact its officials for any guidance or information regarding the new system.

The Consulate General of Pakistan in Jeddah has urged members of the Pakistani community to familiarize themselves with the new appointment system before October 1 and secure advance appointments, in accordance with the prescribed procedures, for NADRA and MRP-related services.
The consulate advised citizens to make appointments in advance to avoid difficulties and unnecessary waiting at the consulate.
