MAKKAH MUKARRAMAH / ISLAMABAD, Jun 23 (APP):New operational hours have been announced for pilgrims wishing to offer prayers and Nawafil inside the Hateem (Hijr Ismail), the sacred crescent-shaped area adjacent to the Holy Kaaba at the Grand Mosque, Masjid al-Haram.
According to the details released by the management, separate time slots have been designated for men and women. This measure aims to maintain strict discipline within the Mataf area and to provide maximum convenience for the visitors.
Under the newly implemented schedule, male pilgrims will be permitted to pray inside the Hateem from 10:00 PM until 1:00 AM. Meanwhile, a dedicated morning slot from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM has been allocated exclusively for female pilgrims. The administration confirmed that these newly scheduled hours have formally taken effect starting Monday, June 22, 2026.
The primary objective of this new mechanism is to effectively manage the exceptional crowd sizes within the Hateem, ensuring a serene and peaceful environment for all worshippers to perform their prayers with ease. The Haramain administration has urged all Umrah pilgrims and worshippers to strictly adhere to these designated timings and to extend their full cooperation to the security personnel deployed on-site.
