Mina, June 4, 2025 (APP):The Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance has implemented extensive measures to enhance religious awareness and guidance for pilgrims in Mina during the 1446H Hajj season. As part of these efforts, the ministry has established 17 Dawah cabins and installed 75 electronic screens that broadcast guidance messages in various international languages.
According to a spokesperson for the ministry, these cabins are staffed by qualified scholars and multilingual translators who are available around the clock to answer pilgrims’ religious queries and distribute educational materials. The cabins are strategically located near key sites such as Al-Khaif Mosque, Hujjaj Al-Bar Mosque, under and above the Jamarat Bridge, and King Abdulaziz Bridge.
Utilizing modern technology, the ministry has also launched a “Digital Sharia Guidance” service. This initiative enables pilgrims to connect directly with scholars via video calls using six dedicated iPads, allowing for instant and reliable fatwas.
In addition, a comprehensive Dawah program is being conducted at Al-Khaif Mosque, featuring lectures by prominent scholars and religious figures to provide pilgrims with essential religious instruction during Hajj.
These initiatives are part of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs’ broader mission to serve the Guests of Allah, promote moderation and balance, and disseminate the true and compassionate message of Islam that eases the religious journey of believers.
