Hajj 2026: Ministry’s inspection teams active in Madinah; pilgrims express satisfaction over arrangements

Inspection teams from the Ministry of Religious Affairs have intensified their field operations in Madinah to evaluate and ensure the quality of services provided to Pakistani pilgrims.

MADINAH, Jun 18 (APP):Inspection teams from the Ministry of Religious Affairs have intensified their field operations in Madinah to evaluate and ensure the quality of services provided to Pakistani pilgrims.
According to the ministry spokesperson, Umer Butt  the teams are conducting regular site visits to interact directly with the pilgrims, gathering comprehensive feedback regarding their accommodation, catering quality, the conduct of the welfare staff, and overall transport facilities. During these interactions, the pilgrims expressed high levels of satisfaction with the arrangements implemented under the Government Hajj Scheme.
Updating on the post-Hajj flight operations, the spokesperson confirmed that the repatriation process from Jeddah Airport has been successfully completed. However, the return flight operations from Madinah Airport are actively underway and will continue according to schedule until June 30, 2026.
 Data shows that the phase is winding down in Makkah, where only 6,000 government scheme pilgrims remain, while 27,000 pilgrims are currently stationed in Madinah to complete their stay.
The Ministry of Religious Affairs has issued crucial guidelines for the pilgrims to ensure a hassle-free departure. The spokesperson urged all pilgrims to keep their return preparations aligned with their respective flight schedules and strictly follow the instructions of the Hajj helpline and field staff. Furthermore, pilgrims are directed to strictly adhere to the airline baggage weight limits specified in the policy to avoid any delays or inconvenience at the airport check-in counters.
Regarding the sacred visitations in the holy city, the spokesperson stated that the ministry is facilitating the historical and spiritual visits in a highly organized manner. Pilgrims are being assisted in performing the Ziyarah of Riaz-ul-Jannah at the Masjid-al-Nabawi in synchronized, phase-wise groups. This structured approach aims to maintain discipline, minimize overcrowding, and ensure that every pilgrim can experience the spiritual journey with peace, comfort, and due reverence.
