DPM Dar hails strengthening Pak-China ties during official visit to Beijing

BEIJING, May 21 (APP): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Wednesday reaffirmed that the strategic cooperative partnership between Pakistan and China continues to strengthen, reaching new heights of mutual trust and collaboration.
Concluding his three-day official visit to China, Dar described the visit as highly productive and marked by significant diplomatic progress.
Talking to APP, the Deputy Prime Minister noted that the visit coincided with the 74th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China – a relationship that has evolved into an ironclad friendship over the decades.
Dar held extensive discussions with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and his delegation, emphasizing the depth and warmth of bilateral ties. He also met with Afghanistan Acting Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi ahead of the China-Pakistan-Afghanistan trilateral meeting, hosted by Wang Yi.
During the trilateral dialogue, the three sides conducted comprehensive talks and agreed to convene the next round of the meeting in Kabul, with participation from the foreign ministers of all three countries.
Additionally, Dar met with Liu Jianchao, Minister of the International Department of the Communist Party of China (IDCPC), where both parties agreed to enhance institutional linkages between Pakistan political parties and the Communist Party of China (CPC), further reinforcing the multi-dimensional partnership.
