Chinese FM sends message of condolences after Sydney’s deadly shooting: Guo Jiankun

BEIJING, Dec 15 (APP): Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi has sent a message of condolences to Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong after the mass shooting occurred in Sydney that caused heavy casualties, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun said on Monday.

In response to a question regarding the incident during his regular press briefing held at IPC, he said, “Chinese side expresses condolences to the victims and extends its sincere sympathies to the bereaved families and the injured.”
