BEIJING, Dec 17 (APP):Pakistan’s Ambassador to China, Khalil Hashmi, has urged young Pakistani professionals to closely study China’s path of socio-economic development and modernization, and to adapt relevant lessons for Pakistan’s own development priorities.
He made these remarks while addressing the opening ceremony of the Young Workers Seminar, graciously hosted by the All-China Federation of Trade Unions (ACFTU), which brought together around 50 young Pakistani professionals from a wide range of institutions.
Ambassador Hashmi noted that as Pakistan and China move toward celebrating the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations in 2026, continued engagement of young professionals would play a vital role in further strengthening bilateral ties in the years ahead.
Later, while hosting the young professionals at Pakistan House, Ambassador Hashmi shared his reflections on the significance of their visit at a time when China is transitioning from rapid growth to a phase of high-quality economic development.
He also interacted with them to hear about their experiences and aspirations related to the study and training program, encouraging them to carry back practical and replicable lessons to support Pakistan’s development efforts.
