TOKYO, Nov 28 (APP):Ambassador Abdul Hameed has presented his Letter of Credence to the Emperor of Japan in a dignified ceremony held on Friday at the Imperial Palace.
Following the presentation of credentials, Ambassador Abdul Hameed conveyed warm greetings and best wishes from the President and the Prime Minister of Pakistan to the Emperor.
The Ambassador reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to further strengthen longstanding friendship and multifaceted cooperation between Pakistan and Japan.
The ceremony was also attended by officers of the Embassy including Syed Irfan Abbas Shah, Economic Minister, Air Cdre. Yashir Shafiq Malik, Defence Attaché, Ch. Talha Bin Khalid, Political Counsellor, Mr. Muqarrab Mukhtar Awan, Press Counsellor, Ms. Madiha Ali, Trade & Investment Counsellor, and Zahra Dastagir, Community Welfare Attaché.
From the Japanese side, senior officials, including Mr. Ryosei Akazawa, Minister of Economy, Trade & Industry, were present in the ceremony.
