Saudi Arab-Jeddah, Feb 15 (APP):Press Consular at Consulate General of Pakistan Jeddah, Mohammed Irfan while appreciating Jeddah-Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan, said that it has been working for humanity and may Allah Almighty bless their efforts.
He expressed these words while attending a dinner hosted by Raja Mohammed Riaz, President of “Samaji Rabita Committee Jeddah and Finance Secretary of Pakistan Investors Forum, Saudi Arabia, in the honor of Dr. Hafizur Rahman, president of AlKhidmat Foundation Pakistan.
In his presidential address, he said that there are countless opportunities for public services through AlKhidmat platform, and the youth should step forward and take responsibility in this regard.
He further appealed to the people in Pakistan and abroad that they should become part of Alkhidmat’s mission.
The program began with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Qari Muhammad Asif.
Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool was presented by Muhammad Saleem.
Raja Muhammad Riaz welcomed all the guests and thanked them for participating in the program.
The Chief Guest, Dr. Hafizur Rahman, in his address, put light on working of AlKhidmat and informed the participants about its activities. He said that AlKhidmat Foundation is a non-governmental organization of Pakistan that was established in 1990.
AlKhidmat is actively working in the fields of education, health, orphan care, clean water, Mawakhat (provision of interest-free loans), social services, and disaster prevention.
Hifiz ur Rehman said that the most prominent charity work of this organization is volunteer services during disasters.
AlKhidmat Foundation is currently providing its services in 150 districts of Pakistan, he added.
He also informed about the assistance and Aghosh program provided by Pakistan to the Palestinian people.
The ceremony was also addressed by Chaudhry Muhammad Akram Gajatra and Kunwar Qutbuddin Khan, former President of the Muslim League (Qayyum), former Member of the National Assembly, Founder and Chairman of the All Rajput International Association (ARIA).
