Federal Ombudsman decides to hold day of celebration for Overseas on Dec 20

Ombudsman resolved 170,546 cases against electric companies in three years

ISLAMABAD, Dec 16 (APP): Federal Ombudsman has decided to hold day of celebration for Overseas Pakistanis on December 20 in recognition of their services rendered for Pakistan.
According to a press release issued here Friday, Senior Advisor (Law)/ Grievance Commissioner for Overseas Pakistanis Federal Ombudsman Pakistan Hafiz Ahsaan Ahmad Khokhar has decided during the meeting conducted with Senior representatives of Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis, Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF), Bureau of migration, Overseas Employment Corporation and other relevant Agencies to celebrate the day for Overseas Pakistanis on December 20.
Hafiz Ahsaan Ahmed Khokhar said the instructions in this regard has been issued to Missions Abroad as well through Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He said this would be first time when the services of Overseas Pakistanis rendered for Pakistan and community would be recognized at highest level and this would also create good image among them for the working of government institutions.
He said all relevant government departments and Overseas Pakistanis would attend the celebration day to be held on December 20,2016.
He said during the day of celebration the participant would also be aware about the steps taken so far for Overseas Pakistanis.
