LAHORE, Dec 19 (APP):Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has appointed Zeeshan Ashiq Malik as Adviser to the Chief Minister on Political Affairs.
According to an official notification issued by the Cabinet Wing of the Services and General Administration Department (S&GAD), the appointment has been made under Section 3 of the Punjab Advisors Ordinance, 2002.
The notification added that prior to this appointment, Zeeshan Ashiq Malik was serving as Special Assistant to the Chief Minister. Following his new appointment as Adviser on Political Affairs, his position as Special Assistant to the Chief Minister has been terminated.
The Chief Minister appointed Zeeshan Ashiq Malik as Adviser on Political Affairs in recognition of his outstanding services and contributions. In his new role, he will assist the Chief Minister in matters relating to political affairs, coordination, and liaison.
The appointment has been made with immediate effect, the notification added.
