ISLAMABAD, Oct 20 (APP):A young international taekwondo gold medalist, Syed Abu Huraira Shah, met Balochistan Chief Minister (CM) Mir Sarfraz Bugti in Quetta on Monday, where he was lauded for his outstanding performance and assured full provincial support for future events. The meeting was also attended by MPA Haji Zabad Reki, along with senior sports officials.
The CM commended Abu Huraira’s achievements, including his gold medal at an international event and his recent performance in France, and said that the government would extend all possible assistance to nurture such young talent. He said the athlete’s dedication and success at a young age had brought pride not only to Balochistan but to the entire country.
Talking to APP, Abu Huraira Shah expressed his gratitude to CM Sarfraz Bugti, Secretary of Sports Dura Baloch, and MPA Haji Zabad Reki for making the meeting possible and for encouraging him. He said their support had strengthened his resolve to represent Pakistan with even greater spirit in the upcoming international competitions.
The young athlete further remarked that his mission is to bring more laurels for Pakistan on the global stage and to inspire other youngsters from Balochistan and across the country to pursue martial arts and sports with passion and discipline.
