A delegation of junior staff, including clerks, attendants, stenographers and lab attendants, called on the vice chancellor to discuss pending promotion cases.
The delegation apprised the vice chancellor that promotion cases of several eligible employees had remained pending for a long time, affecting their professional growth. They demanded that the cases be resolved on a priority basis in accordance with university rules to boost staff morale and improve institutional performance.
