WSSC DIKhan intensifies cleanliness drive along Muharram procession routes
Dera Ismail Khan , Jun 22 (APP):Water and Sanitation Services Company Dera Ismail Khan (WSSC DI Khan) has intensified its cleanliness campaign across the city, particularly along the routes of Muharram-ul-Haram mourning processions and at Imambargahs, to ensure a clean and safe environment for mourners.
According to an official, sanitation teams are carrying out special cleaning operations at Thalla Jat, Imambargahs and adjoining areas during day and night shifts. The company has deployed additional staff and machinery to maintain hygiene and facilitate the smooth conduct of religious gatherings and processions.
The official said that maintaining cleanliness during Muharram is a collective responsibility and all available resources are being utilized to provide a healthy and secure environment for citizens.
WSSC DI Khan appealed to the public to extend full cooperation to sanitation workers and dispose of garbage only at designated points in order to keep the city clean.
“A clean city and a safe environment are our shared responsibility,” the official added, reiterating the company’s commitment to ensuring effective municipal services throughout Muharram-ul-Haram.
