LAHORE, Mar 03 (APP): Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has announced that workers registered with Social Security who do not hold the Maryam Nawaz Rashan Card will also receive Rs 10,000 under the Ramazan Nighban Package.
The Bank of Punjab has established a procedure for claiming the amount. Eligible workers have been sent a six-digit PIN code, which, along with their CNIC, must be presented at HBL Konnect, UBL Omni, or Alfa Pay agents near their homes or industrial units. After providing the secret PIN and completing biometric verification, workers will immediately receive the full PKR 10,000 without any deductions.
According to a spokesperson of the Punjab Employees Social Security Institution (PESSI), more than 1.2 million Social Security registered workers across the province are benefiting from this cash assistance. The initiative ensures timely support for workers during the holy month of Ramadan.
