SUKKUR, Nov 03 (APP):A group of women entrepreneurs, led by Ms. Nansukh, has established Red Royal Foods in Jhudo, processing locally grown tomatoes, onions, and chillies using eco-friendly sun-drying technology, said a release issued here on Monday.
The initiative, part of the Malteser International and BMZ-funded project “Empowering Local Stakeholders and Communities,” aims to promote diversified and sustainable livelihoods, and protection against climate risks.
With project support, the women mastered hygienic drying, cutting, and packaging techniques, and now supply their products to local and mega markets.
This success story showcases how empowered women, equipped with green technology and business training, can drive sustainable rural transformation, promoting gender equality and climate-resilient livelihoods in southern Sindh.
The project is supported by BMZ and the German Embassy, highlighting the importance of collaborative efforts in promoting sustainable development and women’s empowerment.
