RAWALPINDI, Jun 27 (APP): The mystery of a woman’s death a year ago in the Wah Saddar area has been solved as her husband and mother-in-law have turned out to be her ‘murderers’.
The Wah Saddar Police arrested both the accused, a Rawalpindi Police spokesman said on Friday.
The woman’s death was declared ‘natural’ and her husband also tried to get it declared so. However, forensic evidence and post-mortem report revealed that she died of poisoning.
The police registered a case of her murder in the light of the forensic reports and took the two accused into custody.
Superintendent of Police Potohar Talha Wali directed the Wah Sadder Police to prepare the challan against the accused with solid evidence to get them convicted from the court.
