LAHORE, Feb 24 (APP):Tragic incidents were reported across the provincial capital on Tuesday as the bodies of a woman, a newborn, and a road accident victim were recovered from different locations.
According to Rescue 1122, the tortured body of a 30-year-old woman, identified as Bakhtawar, wife of Ismail, was recovered from a house in Shadman and handed over to the police for legal action.
In a separate incident, a woman was killed on the spot when a motorcycle collided with a Qingqi rickshaw near Dyal Village on GT Road. The injured were shifted to nearby hospitals, while the deceased remained unidentified.
Meanwhile, the body of a newborn child was retrieved from a canal near Thokar Niaz Baig by Rescue 1122 divers and handed over to the police for necessary proceedings
