FAISALABAD, Feb 14 (APP):Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) composite circle Faisalabad arrested a woman agent, an active member of an international human trafficking gang.
According to official sources here on Friday, the woman who was identified as Humera Kanwal has been held from Eden city, Faisalabad and she has links with a gang operating from Azerbaijan.
She has swindled an amount over Rs 6.3 million from three innocent citizens for sending their children to Luxembourg, a European country.
The FIA team has recovered evidence from cell phone, visas, passport’s copy, bank receipts and record sheet with international agent Zohaib.
The accused during preliminary interrogation has confessed involvement in human trafficking and sending people to European countries through Azerbaijan, Libya, and UAE.
