BAHAWALPUR, Feb 08 (APP): A woman lost her life in a road mishap here on National Highway in the suburb of city on Sunday.
According to official sources in the Punjab Emergency Service, Rescue 1122, a couple riding a motorcycle was taking a U-turn on national highway when a speeding car hit them, leaving them critical injured.
The woman suffered serious head injuries and died on the spot while her husband was provided medical fist aid.The victims were shifted to hospital.Police launched investigation.
