Wildlife department cracks down on illegal hunting in Attock

ATTOCK, Dec 30 (APP): Punjab Wildlife Department has apprehended three individuals involved in the illegal hunting of wild rabbits in the Dingi Nari area of Jand tehsil.
According to APP correspondent, the department imposed heavy fines on the accused as part of its ongoing efforts to combat wildlife crimes.
Assistant Chief Wildlife Shahzaib Khurshid stated that the accused were booked under the Punjab Wildlife Act 1974, and a sum of Rs276,100 was recovered on the spot as departmental compensation.
Department has reiterated its zero-tolerance policy against illegal hunting, warning that strict legal action will be taken against anyone found violating wildlife protection laws.
