PESHAWAR, Jan 17 (APP):In a significant effort to promote social inclusion, district administration in collaboration with District Youth Affairs and Asghar Mohmand Foundation distributed free wheelchairs to children with disabilities in Mashokhel village on Saturday.
The distribution ceremony took place at Government High School Mashokhel within Pishtakhara tehsil, featuring Assistant Commissioner (Matni) Syed Manan as a guest. The event was organized by Chairman Malik Azghar Khan Mohmand and General Counselor Haji Ali Khan.
Speaking on the occasion, Assistant Commissioner, Syed Manan lauded Asghar Mohmand Foundation for its dedicated service to humanity, saying that such philanthropic actions are vital indicators of a compassionate and responsible society.
He emphasized that providing these wheelchairs would significantly ease daily challenges faced by children with diabilities, offering them greater independence.
The ceremony was attended by local dignitaries, teachers, and community members, all of whom praised welfare initiative as a commendable step toward supporting village’s most vulnerable residents.
