WCLA organizes Korean Pakistan cultural night

LAHORE, May 31 (APP):The Walled City of Lahore Authority (WCLA) in partnership with the Embassy of the Republic of Korea and the Punjab Government organized an enchanting evening that celebrated the rich cultural tapestries of Korea and Pakistan at Picture Wall, Lahore Fort.
This vibrant event showcased the harmonious blend of music, dance and cultural expressions that define both nations, said a press release issued here on Saturday.
The objective of the Korea-Pakistan Culture Night was to foster cultural exchange and tourism, bringing together diverse communities to celebrate the spirit of friendship between Korea and Pakistan.
The event provided an opportunity for the audience to experience the captivating traditions of both cultures, highlighting the enduring ties between the two nations.
The evening featured remarkable performances, including the Pansori (Sumi Pang), Folk Song (Haranga), Sung Jae Lee on Daegeum as soloist and a Duo Kathak performance by Mr Zakaria Iqbal and Jessica.
Adding to the festive spirit were the mesmerizing performances by the Madhulal Dhamal Group and a soulful ‘Bansuri’ and ‘Tabla’ duet by Bilal Sabir and Jahaniyan Khan.
WCLA Director General Dr Asif Tufail  said, “This event is a wonderful opportunity to bring together the shared heritage of Pakistan and Korea.
It symbolized our commitment to fostering mutual understanding and appreciation between our cultures, and we were delighted to welcome everyone to this memorable evening.”
Attendees were captivated by the mesmerizing performances and the vibrant atmosphere that celebrated the shared values of respect, harmony, and cultural exchange.
