FAISALABAD, Jul 08 (APP):Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) Managing Director Suhail Qadir Cheema has directed revenue officers to focus on recovery and initiate stern legal action against defaulters and disconnect illegal connections.
Chairing a meeting of revenue officers here on Tuesday, he ordered them to go in the field instead of sitting in offices, focusing on increasing recovery as no compromise will be made in this regard.
He directed them to disconnect all illegal water supply and sewerage connections and reconnect them after regularization. The MD also appealed to the consumers to pay their pending as well as monthly bills timely and extend coordination to WASA to improve services delivery.
