LAHORE, Jan 07 (APP):A special cell, under the supervision of Managing Director WASA Ghuffran Ahmed, has been set up at the WASA Lahore Call Centre to address water supply and drainage-related issues across Punjab.
According to a WASA spokesperson, the call centre will receive public complaints from all districts of the province regarding water and sewerage services.
On the special instructions of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif, implementation has begun on establishing a uniform complaint management system across the province to ensure prompt redressal of public grievances and WASA has taken this step in compliance.
In addition to the establishment of the call center, a Punjab WASA Android mobile application is also being launched to facilitate consumers. Through this mobile application, citizens will be able to register their complaints easily and efficiently.
The spokesperson further stated that the 1334 helpline will be made fully operational across Punjab by January 31.
