MURREE, Aug 18 (APP):The Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) Murree has deployed special teams and water tankers to provide drinking water to areas facing shortages in Murree and Kotli Sattian.
Deputy Commissioner Murree, Agha Zaheer Abbas Shirazi, on Tuesday said the teams were working round the clock to supply clean drinking water to residents of both tehsils, particularly those living in remote and hilly areas facing difficulties due to inadequate water supply.
He said provision of basic facilities to citizens was the priority of the administration and negligence in this regard would not be tolerated.
The DC also appealed to citizens to avoid wastage of water and extend full cooperation to the field teams in addressing the shortage.
