RAWALPINDI, Jul 22 (APP):In a significant breakthrough, police have arrested a wanted killer involved in a brutal murder case that shook the Ratta Amral jurisdiction last year.
The heinous incident occurred in July 2024, when the accused, alongside his accomplices, attacked a citizen, killing him and injuring two others with knives and pistol butts over an old enmity.
According to police spokesman, the Ratta Amral police registered a case swiftly following the incident. Utilizing effective human intelligence, law enforcement officers managed to apprehend the prime suspect.
Police confirmed that seven accomplices had already been detained during previous raids.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SP) Rawal stated that the arrested individual will be presented before the court with solid evidence.
He reiterated the Rawalpindi Police’s commitment to bringing perpetrators who take the law into their own hands to justice. “Such acts of violence will never be tolerated,” SP Rawal added, “and our operations against wanted criminals will continue unabated and without discrimination.”
