RAWALPINDI, Feb 26 (APP):The Wah Saddar Police on Thursday arrested a man and recovered 1.2 kilograms of heroin in an operation targeting drug suppliers in Rawalpindi District, a Rawalpindi Police spokesperson said.
The spokesperson said the action was part of ongoing measures to eliminate the scourge of narcotics from the district. “All steps are being taken to ensure drug traffickers do not escape the law,” he added.
In a separate operation, the Saddar Berooni Police detained another individual and recovered 1.6 kilograms of charas, with cases registered in both incidents.
The spokesperson reiterated the police’s commitment to cracking down on narcotics supply and safeguarding citizens from drug-related crimes.
