ISLAMABAD, Oct 23 (APP):Veteran educationist and founder of the Private School Network (PSN), Islamabad, Dr Muhammad Afzal Babar, passed away on Thursday night due to cardiac arrest.
According to a statement, his funeral prayers were offered at the Barakahu graveyard, attended by a large number of people from social, political, and educational circles, along with family members.
“Dr Babar dedicated his entire life for the promotion of education and the protection of the rights of the private school sector,” it added.
“Through his efforts, teachers and students were provided a strong and unified platform in the form of PSN,” it noted.
Teachers, students, and educationists expressed deep sorrow over his demise, terming it a great loss to the education sector.
They said his tireless struggle in the field of education will always be remembered.
